Style
Preface Wine operates as a dual-purpose venue, functioning as a retail wine shop during daytime hours and transitioning to an intimate wine bar in the evening. The venue emphasizes curated, experiential hospitality through limited-capacity tastings, such as the eight-seat Wine & Baseball: Starting Lineup event that accompanied its grand opening. This format reflects contemporary independent wine bar trends that prioritize personal engagement and thematic programming over high-volume service.
History
Preface Wine opened on 22 October 2026 in Pineapple Grove, an arts and independent retail district within Delray Beach. The grand opening was marked by champagne service and an intimate tasting experience. The timing of the opening coincided with the World Series, informing the baseball-themed inaugural tasting event. The venue represents the continued growth of independent wine retail and hospitality concepts in South Florida's Delray Beach market.
