Style

Telmont produces blends from the Vallée de la Marne, with Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir contributing alongside Chardonnay. The cuvées aim for fresh, fruit-led profiles rather than oxidative or heavily-dosed styles. The maison has positioned its line — including the entry-level Réserve Brut and the higher-tier Réserve Rosé and millésimés — as expressions of a single cohesive house signature rather than a sprawling portfolio.

History

Maison Telmont was founded in 1912 in Damery, on the right bank of the Marne. After more than a century of family ownership it was acquired by the Rémy Cointreau group in 2020 and relaunched under an "À la racine" climate programme — full organic conversion of estate vineyards, lighter bottles, and published carbon and water-use accounts. The house operates without aircraft transport for its bottles, a deliberate constraint that shapes its export footprint.
