Joyau de France is the prestige cuvée of the family-owned Épernay house Boizel, the millésimé that anchors the top of its range alongside the rosé "Joyau de France Rosé". The blend is typically around 65% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay, drawn from premier and grand cru villages on the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs, with no Meunier.
The wine is bottled only in declared vintages and aged on lees for around a decade before disgorgement, dosed in the low brut range. Boizel has remained family-led since its founding in 1834 and the Joyau de France line has been the maison's flagship since the 1980s.
