Blanc des Millénaires is the vintage Blanc de Blancs of Charles Heidsieck, first released with the 1983 vintage. It is sourced from five grand cru villages in the Côte des Blancs — Avize, Cramant, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger and Vertus — and aged in the maison's deep crayères (chalk pits) beneath Reims for at least a decade before release.

The house was founded in 1851 by Charles-Camille Heidsieck — the "Champagne Charlie" who built the brand in the United States. Long lees ageing in the crayères is the maison's house signature; Blanc des Millénaires takes it further than any other cuvée in the range.
