Gosset Grand Millésime

Grand Millésime is bottled only in declared years. The assemblage skews slightly more Chardonnay than the Grande Réserve (roughly 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir, no Meunier), drawn from a tight selection of premier and grand cru villages on the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims.

Like the rest of the range it does not go through malolactic fermentation — the choice that gives Gosset its identifiably bright, citrus-driven vintage style. Long lees ageing (around eight years) and a brut-level dosage frame a wine designed to hold its acidity well into its second decade.
