Moët & Chandon Nectar Impérial

Nectar Impérial is the demi-sec line in the Impérial range. The base wine assemblage echoes Moët Impérial — roughly equal parts Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay drawn from over a hundred villages with a substantial reserve component — but the disgorgement dosage is much higher, in the demi-sec category at around 45 g/L.

Commercially the cuvée occupies a distinct market position: it is positioned heavily for cocktails and as a sweeter occasion wine, particularly in the United States. The richer dosage frames a rounder, fruit-forward profile that the more traditional Brut Impérial does not aim for.
