100% Chardonnay · 35% Pinot Noir · 15% Pinot Meunier

Belle Époque was first released in 1969 (vintage 1964) and quickly became a marker for the Art Nouveau revival of its bottle. The famous white anemone design was originally drawn by glassmaker Émile Gallé for Perrier-Jouët in 1902 and brought back to life when the cuvée was launched.

The blend is Chardonnay-led — typically around half Chardonnay and a third Pinot Noir, with a smaller Meunier component — and centred on the maison's holdings in Cramant. The wine spends six to eight years on lees in the cellars of Épernay before release.
