Taittinger Nocturne Sec

Nocturne is Taittinger's sec-category cuvée — sweeter than the Brut Réserve and the Prestige Rosé but well short of the demi-sec register. The assemblage echoes the maison's house style: roughly 40% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Meunier, drawn from over thirty villages across the Marne with a notable share of estate Côte des Blancs fruit.

The cuvée is dosed at around 17 g/L, in the upper sec range, framing a rounder, fruit-forward profile that Taittinger positions explicitly for late-evening occasions and dessert pairings. A "Sleeve" version, wrapped in a metallic sleeve, has long been the cuvée's most visible market expression — one of the first overt evening-occasion plays from a Reims grande marque.
