Brut Réserve is the volume cuvée of the family-owned Boizel, the maison's NV signature since the line was reshaped in the 1980s. The blend is typically Pinot Noir-led (around 55%), with Chardonnay (around 30%) for tension and a smaller share of Meunier (around 15%), drawn from over forty villages across the Marne with a substantial reserve component.

The wine is aged on lees for around three years, beyond the AOC minimum, and dosed in the standard brut range. Boizel has remained family-led since 1834 — five generations and one of the last large Épernay houses still under family control — and the Brut Réserve sits at the entry of the range, below the millésimés and the prestige Joyau de France line.
