Joseph Perrier Les Chalmonts

Les Chalmonts is Joseph Perrier's mono-parcellaire, mono-cépage cuvée — a 100% Meunier vintage Champagne drawn from a single walled vineyard in Hautvillers, the abbey village on the Marne's right bank where Dom Pérignon worked.

The cuvée is part of Joseph Perrier's small-batch "Côte à Côté" range, which showcases individual parcels of the family estate at single-grape, single-vintage scale. Vinification follows the maison's gentle, low-intervention house approach, with extended ageing on lees before disgorgement and a low brut dosage. The cuvée is intended to show that Meunier — long treated as a blending grape — can hold its own as a vintage-quality varietal Champagne.
