Philipponnat Royale Réserve Brut

Royale Réserve is the NV cuvée that anchors the Philipponnat lineup. The blend leans roughly 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Meunier, with a notably high reserve-wine share kept on lees for several years before joining the assemblage.

A portion of the base wine is fermented in oak — the same discipline Philipponnat applies to its Clos des Goisses prestige cuvée — and the finished cuvée rests three years on lees before disgorgement. Dosage is in the brut range, on the lower side.
