Pommery Brut Royal

Brut Royal is Pommery's NV signature. The assemblage is roughly a third each of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier, drawn from over forty villages across the Marne.

Pommery is historically credited — through Madame Louise Pommery in the 1870s — with popularising the brut style in Champagne, when most cuvées were still markedly sweeter for the export market. Brut Royal continues that line: light bead, dry finish, dosage in the lower brut range. The wine spends around three years on the lees and remains the volume cuvée against which the maison's prestige Cuvée Louise is positioned.
