Pommery Cuvée Louise Prestige

Cuvée Louise was launched in 1979 in tribute to Madame Pommery, who took over the house in 1858 and built it into one of the great names of nineteenth-century Champagne. The cuvée is sourced from three grand cru parcels — Chardonnay from Avize and Cramant, Pinot Noir from Aÿ — and made only in declared vintages.

The wine spends approximately a decade on lees in the maison's 18-kilometre network of Gallo-Roman crayères beneath Reims. A rosé version, made by short skin maceration, runs in parallel under the Louise Rosée name.
