Style

Laurent-Perrier's house identity leans toward freshness and Chardonnay-driven tension rather than Pinot Noir weight. The group controls around 100 ha of estate vineyard and draws heavily on grand cru parcels for its upper tiers.

History

Founded in 1812 as Laurent-Perrier in Tours-sur-Marne, the house was dormant after the Second World War until Bernard de Nonancourt took over in 1948 and rebuilt it into one of the large modern maisons. The Nonancourt family remains the controlling shareholder of Groupe Laurent-Perrier, which is listed on the Paris stock exchange.

Other brands

The group also owns Salon (Le Mesnil-sur-Oger), Delamotte, Château Malakoff and de Castellane.
