Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé

Cuvée Rosé was launched in 1968 and built the modern Champagne rosé category. Unlike most rosé Champagnes — which are assembled by adding still red wine to a white base — Cuvée Rosé is made entirely by saignée: brief skin contact between Pinot Noir grapes and their juice, giving colour without dilution.

The blend is 100% Pinot Noir, drawn from premier and grand cru villages of the Montagne de Reims. The narrow-shouldered bottle, modelled on a seventeenth-century carafe, is itself part of the cuvée's identity.
