Bolha perfeita, finíssimo no aroma, muita delicadeza de fruta vermelha, ervas secas, leve nota especiada. Macio e untuoso na boca (leve açúcar residual ajuda a preencher o palato), acidez de elevado nível conserva o vinho no registo floral e levemente mineral. Absolutamente perfeito.

Helles Goldgelb, silberfarbene Reflexe, feines, anhaltendes Mousseux. Einladendes Bukett nach Orangenblüten und weißen Mandeln, ein Hauch von grünem Apfel, zart rauchige Mineralität, mit Luft etwas Minze und Verveine. Am Gaumen stoffig, feine Steinobstanklänge, weiße Frucht, sehr rassig und ungemein animierend, präzise wie ein Laserschwert, hat sich in Sachen Harmonie und Komplexität in den letzten Jahren nochmals gesteigert, hat nun ein erstes, jugendliches Trinkreifefenster erreicht, bleibt lange haften, im Nachhall geprägt von der typischen Salzigkeit, eindrucksvolle Performance. Magnums of Cristal are always released a couple of years after the original release of a vintage. And the 2013 is gorgeous. It’s linear and extremely long, showing real energy and vibe with crushed chalk and stone. Medium-bodied, tight and still structured, with phenolic tension and intensity. Fresh finish. Demonstrates the reserve power of Crystal. Drink or hold.

A very structure Cristal with aromas of white pepper, bread dough, pie crust, pear tart and a hint of flint. Full-bodied with bitter grapefruit, apricot and lemon flavors. The bubbles turn fine and driving, giving it length and intensity. From organically grown grapes. Will age nicely. Drink or hold.

Pale lemon yellow. Apples, pears, minerals, nuanced, detailed, floral notes nose. Fresh acidity, apples, lemons, citrus, focused, detailed and layered, nuanced and long. Playful. Superb.

Sourced from the Côte des Blancs, Mountain of Reims and Grand Valley of the Marne, the 2013 ‘Cristal’ is comprised of 60% Pinot Noir with the remainder Chardonnay and 32% was large format aged before disgorgement. The nose evokes wild mushroom with lemon rind and shades of bergamot and wet stone. The classic tiny bubbles impress as this has gorgeous weight considering the challenges of the vintage. Lemon oil dusted brioche and cantaloupe flavors come to mind, alongside salted cashew and apricot tones on the palate. This finishes exceedingly long. Highly novel and exotic, this is glorious wine to savor now, as this outstanding ‘Cristal’ will provide drinking enjoyment over the next two decades.

Composto de 60% Pinot Noir e 40% Chardonnay, com estágio de 32% do vinho base em carvalho, sem fermentação malolática e dosagem final de 8 g/l de açúcar. Nessa safra, permanece cerca de 6 anos em contato com as leveduras antes da degola. Ainda muito jovem e um pouco fechada em termos aromáticos, mostra notas florais, de ervas frescas, de fermento e de padaria, que aparecem tanto no nariz quanto na boca. Impressiona pela tensão e pela profundidade, tudo sustentado por textura firme , acidez refrescante e final longo, cremoso e vertical. Como de costume, em se tratando de Cristal, está ótima agora, mas tem tudo para ficar ainda melhor nas próximas décadas. Álcool 12%.
